Korean watermelon punch (subak hwachae) is a typical Korean fruit punch to enjoy in summer. You can use watermelon on its own or mix it with other summer fruits. It’s quick to prepare with just 4 ingredients.

  • 1/4 seedless watermelon, balled up or diced
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cup lemon-lime flavored soda, refrigerated
  • 2-4 table spoon sweet condensed milk, honey or sugar
  • blueberries for garnish, optional
  • Place the watermelon pieces (and its juice) in a large serving bowl.

  • Mix milk and condensed milk in another bowl and add soda; mixed. Pour the punch mixture over the watermelon. Garnish with blueberries if using.

  • To serve, pour watermelon punch into a small individual bowl. Serve immediately or chill up to 2 hours.

  • Leftover punch can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

You can add other fruits like cantaloupe or cantaloupe, pineapple, and watermelon into the punch.
