Prepare the condiments: Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Cut the boiled egg in half. Chop the cucumber and lettuce.
prepare the seasoning: Place the mentsuyu, mayonnaise and ground sesame seeds in a small bottle, close the lid and shake to mix.
boil some noodles: Pour plenty of water (not listed) into a pot, bring to the boil, add the somen noodles and boil according to the package instructions.
drain the tagliatelle: Drain the water using a colander, then rinse quickly with cold running water and leave to cool.
Disposition: Arrange the somen noodles on a plate, garnish with the seasonings and serve with the dressing.

Notes
- Immediately after boiling, wash the tagliatelle in cold water to stop cooking and eliminate excess starch. The consistency will also be better.
