What is the best ground beef to use?

When it comes to keto-friendly ground beef recipes, I opt for lean or extra lean ground meat. This ensures you get protein without excess fat, while keeping your macros in check. If you prefer a fatter mix, you make it yourself. Sometimes a fattier combination is perfect for adding more flavor and tenderness, for example for making homemade sausages or chevups.

Minced meat, or minced meat, is also known as minced beef or hamburger meat and is generally available at most butchers or supermarkets. Some products may contain fillers, however, the vast majority of ground beef is simply meat without additives, making it gluten-free and keto-friendly.

Preparation and storage of minced meat

Preparing ground beef for recipes is simple. Simply brown it in a pan over medium heat until cooked through, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Remember to drain off excess fat for a leaner dish. Can be used in the slow cooker, pressure cooker e.g Instant Pot recipes, pan, grill, baked, Thermomixand many other cooking methods. It’s easily one of my favorite ingredients to use.

When it comes to storage, cooked ground beef can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 to 4 days or frozen for long-term storage.
